Abstract

When given a straight edge Sandy was, in her own words, “in heaven dabbling with the precision of the lines and angles that came from it.” From this exploration, her city scapes, a shmorgesborg of geometic forms, were born. Next, the protractor and compass came into her world, and all things circular were incorporated into her body of abstract creations. Doodling, another of Sandy’s talents, had her delivering patterns of circles, triangles, squares, and spirrals, to manifest complex, yet whimsical imagery.
