Dolls
Texture, shape and detail of just about anything and everything amazed Sandy. Chain link fences, in Sandy’s words “were marvelous creations of design”.
From Grecian stone staircases ascending into imagined realms, to store fronts in middle eastern bazaars, to emboldened doorways from cities far way, to the combination of fascinating items of varying shapes and sizes, the world offered a tapestry of visual textual delight for Sandy. Her calling was to celebrate the textual wonder of the world through the medium of assemblage, a three dimentional creative design combining varying objects to form an intergrated whole. Of particular interest is Sandy’s dolls - a collection of upcycled objects, often from nature, made into unique, whimisically creative sculptures brimming with energy and personality.
